Live Music Friday Feat. Scott Elliot Ferreter

Scott Elliott Ferreter, known for his duo, The Feelings Parade, and as a member of beloved Northern-California band, MaMuse, has a history of laying it all on the line. His devotion to music, itself, has him comfortable wearing many hats (songwriter, producer, multi-instrumentalist), though he is most at home behind the mic. His songs take on topics of ambitious depth—impermanence, healing, death, and ancestry— yet his humor and realness bring it all together with gentleness and easeful reverence.

Having played enormous stages like the Masonic (as a special guest of Glen Hansard), as well as the Fox Theater in Oakland, he’s also stayed rooted with a history of playing state prisons and busking on the street. All said and done, he holds a rare kind of presence on whatever stage he steps onto.

Live Music Friday Feat. Drew Pearce Duo

Lindsey McFarland is a soulful singer and acoustic guitarist known for heartfelt performances that blend unique covers with an authentic, personal touch. With a natural talent for reimagining songs and a love for acoustic simplicity, Lindsey thrives on making music a shared experience, whether she's playing solo or jamming with friends.

At just 16 years old, Rio McFarland is already a seasoned bassist with talent and versatility that span genres and styles. From the rhythmic pulse of rock and reggae to the intricate melodies of jazz, classical, and bluegrass, Rio brings a unique vibe to every performance. Starting on bass at the age of 11, Rio quickly fell in love with the instrument’s ability to bridge rhythm and harmony. Inspired by legends across multiple genres and decades, Rio infuses every note with passion and precision.

As the singer-songwriter-guitarist of the band Darrington, Drew Pearce was part of the indie folk scene in SF in the 90s and early 00s. Inspired by acts like The Cure, Crowded House, and Elvis Costello, his music could be called "acoustic new wave" (or maybe more accurately, "middle age wave") Since 2004, he's been organizing house concerts in living rooms and backyards around the Bay Area and recently began hosting shows at The Lost Church Santa Rosa.

Live Music Friday feat. Gillian Grogan

Untamed and untethered, Grogan drifts between genres with her tickled strings and floating vocals, her hammered riffs and belted requests. We All Need Someone To Shout For calls it "powerhouse emotive folk storytelling in the vein of Laura Marling". It is the alchemy of a pure yet earthy voice that can silence a room. The Woven Collective calls it "an unforgiving tuggin' at your roots, no matter where you come from, her lyrics wash over you like gentle reminders of another life you haven't had yet."
